  • Have fun acting, performing, and working together on plays and skits
  • Build confidence, creativity, and teamwork skills
  • Help with acting, costumes, props, stage setup, and more
  • Meet other students who enjoy theater, performing, and making people laugh
  • Put on two performances each year — one in collaboration with the high school in the fall and one KRMS-only performance in the spring
  • Great for students who love being on stage or working behind the scenes

Kingswood Regional Middle School's Drama Club program is open to all middle school students.  Practices begin in November and are held three to four days per week, ending with a thirty minute show as the opening act for the High School's winter production at the Kingswood Arts Center in late January.  Students in Drama Club can expect to take on roles that can include acting, set crew, tech crew, and costume design, while enjoying a fun way to get to know peers, make new friends, try new things, and build confidence.  Middle school students are also given the opportunity to participate in the high school performance in the fall.
